Man City plan to offer Nigerian striker as makeweight for BvB star
Manchester City are reportedly keen on doing business with Borussia Dortmund when the transfer window reopens in July.
The Citizens have endured one of their toughest campaigns in recent times, and they are not yet assured of a place in next season's Champions League.
According to The Sun, Pep Guardiola will seek to revive his interest in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after they face with a tentative approach for his signature last summer.
Aubameyang has repeatedly stated his desire to feature for Real Madrid, but it appears that he may have to switch his attention with the European champions not in rush to sign a new striker.
City have been chasing the Gabonese marksman for a while, and as per The Sun, they are prepared to offer Kelechi Iheanacho as makeweight in a proposed deal for Aubameyang.
Iheanacho has largely played backup to the likes of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, and his future looks bleak at the Etihad despite the former being linked with a potential exit from the club.
BvB boss Thomas Tuchel has been open to the prospect of developing talents in his lineup, and Iheanacho could get his chance to prove his credentials, should a deal be struck in the summer.
