Antonio Conte eyeing EPL star as Diego Costa replacement
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is prepared to revive his interest in Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente, should Diego Costa end his Blues association in the summer.
Costa has been constantly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with Paris Saint-Germain and a host of Chinese Super League clubs vying for his signature.
According to The Independent, Conte has identified the likes of Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku to fulfil the striker void, but Llorente is also in consideration for a summer transfer.
Llorente previously worked alongside Conte at former club Juventus, and the Italian had tried to pursue his signature during the winter transfer window.
The former Sevilla man has contributed 14 league goals during the ongoing campaign, and this has kept the Swans clear of the drop zone this season.
Should Llorente make his move to west London, he will probably be offered a backup role ahead Michy Batshuayi with Conte likely to recruit another world-class striker to his ranks.
