Arsenal ace in talks over Fenerbahce move
Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has reportedly begun negotiations with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a proposed move to Istanbul ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Colombian has barely featured for the Gunners in recent weeks with manager Arsene Wenger prepared to stick with Petr Cech for the number one role.
Ospina has not featured for the Gunners since his muscle problem in the 2-2 draw versus Manchester City last month, and he may have played his last game for the club with Petr Cech in line to start the FA Cup final against former employers Chelsea this weekend.
According to The Mirror, the former Nice man is closing in on a Gunners exit with Fenerbahce likely to offer a £5m in order to secure his signature.
The talented shot-stopper has already settled personal terms with the Istanbul giants, and it is only a matter of formality before the move is visualised.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has recently ruled out the need for a new goalkeeper with Wojciech Szczesny likely to return to the Emirates after his two-year loan stint with AS Roma.
