Arsenal table renewed fee for Kylian Mbappe
Arsenal have reportedly tabled a world-record £95m for Monaco's Kylian Mbappe as they seek to lure him from the clutches from Real Madrid.
The teenager became a huge hit for the Principality outfit last after he bagged 26 goals across all competitions for Leonardo Jardim's side.
As a result, the France international has attracted plenty of European interest with both Real Madrid and Manchester City plotting world-record bids for his signature.
Arsene Wenger's side had a £87m approach snubbed for Mbappe earlier in the week, and according to The Express, the club have made a fresh attempt in order to pursue the highly-rated forward.
The north London giants are said to have offered a world-record £95m package for Mbappe, who is being seen as the player capable of emulating Gunners great Thierry Henry.
Mbappe has held a secret meeting with Wenger before, and it is understood that the Frenchman favours a switch to the Gunners after liking a fan's Twitter suggestion over a Emirates move.
Arsenal could have signed Mbappe for a mere compensation fee of £230,000 last summer - at a time when he was out of contract at the Ligue 1 champions.
