Fenerbahce want Leicester City duo
Turkish team Fenerbahce are lining up a bid for Leicester City duo Jamie Vardy and Ahmed Musa, as they look for a successor to Robin van Persie this summer.
Current Fenerbahce strikers Emmanuel Emenike and Moussa Sow are set to leave the club in the near future and former Premier League striker Robin van Persie also looks likely to leave the Istanbul club.
DHA in Turkey reports that Fenerbahce thinks the Leicester strikers would be ideal replacements and are getting ready to make their bid for The Foxes' pair.
As Leicester rediscovered their form towards the end of last season, so did England striker Vardy. He finished the campaign with eighteen goals to his name in all competitions. The same cannot be said for Musa. He struggled to find form and was able to score just four times.
Fenerbahce will be playing European football next season and they hope that, after experiencing it with Leicester this season, it will be the factor that attracts them to the club.
Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare will be very keen to keep hold of both players, Jamie Vardy in particular, who is a big favourite with the fans. If either are allowed to leave, The Foxes will demand a big fee in order to find an appropriate replacement.
