Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-2-3-1) vs Liverpool, Lukaku and Martial start

Predicted United lineup to face Liverpool

Manchester United will tackle Liverpool in Saturday's early kickoff in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho's men have secured six victories in their first seven matches, and they hold an unbeaten record which is shared with Manchester City this term. United are already on 19 points for the campaign, and they are behind Pep Guardiola's side only by a solitary goal scored.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Lineup:

Spain international David de Gea has been the regular for United in league and Europe, and he is a definite starter in goal.

Antonio Valencia has been another ever-present in the United setup, and he is more or less guaranteed a role in the right-back spot.

Ashley Young has transformed into an effective player at left-back, and he could start in the position for the fourth league game on the trot.

Phil Jones is likely to recover from his minor knee injury, and he and Eric Bailly will be tasked with making key clearances from the heart of the defence.

Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick are all ruled out for the weekend clash, and Ander Herrera and Nemanja are automatic contenders to feature in a two-man central midfield.

Further forward, Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are constants under Jose Mourinho, and the pair will take up their positions on the right wing and number 10 role respectively.

Marcus Rashford has been the busier of United's left wingers due to international duty, and this could earn Anthony Martial a rare start in the Premier League.

Romelu Lukaku is presently the Premier League's top scorer with seven goals in seven outings, and he is certain to start up front having recovered from his ankle injury scare.
