Slaven Bilic given two games to save his job
West Ham United have reportedly given Slaven Bilic another two games in order to save his managerial post. The Hammers are presently 17th in the table following a damaging 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The loss was their fifth of the 2017/18 Premier League season, and this has added more pressure of Bilic, whose players were booed off the ground on Friday night.
According to Sky Sports News, Bilic will have to produce positive results in the upcoming games against Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace in the League Cup and Premier League respectively in order to save his job.
Despite spending heavily on the likes of Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic, Bilic has failed to find the right balance in the squad, and they have achieved just two wins in the opening nine games of the campaign.
Bilic's future had been under speculation following West Ham United's 11th place finish last term, but the club's owners backed him to continue at the helm.
