Predicted Man United lineup vs Spurs

Manchester United will seek to end their recent winless streak in the Premier League when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils have already dropped valuable points against both Liverpool and Huddersfield Town this month, and they now face a potentially must-win game against Spurs - considering they travel to face Chelsea in early November.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City already hold a five-point lead over the Red Devils at the top of the standings, and Jose Mourinho will expect a strong performance against Spurs - who are one of their key rivals for the English crown. The Mancunian giants secured a 2-0 win over Swansea City in the midweek League Cup game where Jesse Lingard starred with a brace.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Lineup:

David de Gea has been stunning in goal for the Red Devils, and his contribution has proved vital to their strong start to the campaign. The Spaniard will definitely start in goal.

Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are likely to be paired alongside each other in central defence with the duo set to recover from a hip and groin injury respectively.

Antonio Valencia is a certain start at right-back and Ashley Young may just get the nod over the likes of Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian at left-back due to his all-round play.

Ander Herrera suffered a minor ankle knock against Swansea on Tuesday night, but Mourinho does not have much of an option than to play him alongside Nemanja Matic in central midfield.

Marcus Rashford is also in a similar situation with a tight hamstring, and we predict that the likes of Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard could feature on either side of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who will take up his usual number 10 position.

Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has not found the net in four appearances in the month of October, and he will hope to end his mini goalscoring drought to help his side to three points.

Man United lineup: De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Jones, Young, Herrera, Matic, Lingard, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Lukaku
