West Ham want Wayne Bridge
West Ham have been linked with an audacious £6 million bid for Chelsea left back Wayne Bridge. The England international sits behind Ashley Cole in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and has been linked with a move away from the Blues for some time.
Tottenham had been linked with a move for Bridge for a long time, but it seems West Ham have stolen a march on their London rivals in the hunt for Bridge's signature.
West Ham are keen to land Bridge and Alan Curbishley is preparing a £6 million offer. Avram Grant is keen to hang on to Bridge, but the player himself is unhappy playing second fiddle to Ashley Cole.
