Talisca back on Manchester United radar

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Benfica striker Anderson Talisca.

The 24-year-old is presently in the final season of his two-year loan spell with Besiktas, where his performances have caught the eye of Brazil coach Tite.

Talisca had been previously linked with both United and Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer of 2016, but his inability to qualify for a work permit meant that he had to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.

According to A Bola, the attacker's call-up to the national side is likely to enhance his chances of getting a working visa, and this has revived the interest from the Wolves.

Wolves have a close association with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who also represents Talisca, and it is suggested that they may lodge a summer approach for the forward, if they secure their return to the Premier League.

However, they could be rivalled by United for the highly-rated winger, who has previously spoken about the prospect of working under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

The United boss has previously dismissed the idea of recruiting forward-minded players in the summer, but their recent Champions League exit to Sevilla could force them into strengthening the position once more.
