Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Ligue 1 attacker
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on signing Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the current season.
The Germany international was heavily linked with a move to Anfield during the winter of 2017 but he eventually opted to join Les Parisiens from Wolfsburg.
Since then, Draxler has slowly found himself out of the starting lineup with the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel di Maria preferred for the wider positions.
According to TMW, the Reds are likely to retain their long-term interest in the German with Klopp keen to find a suitable replacement for Philippe Coutinho who left for Barcelona in January.
The likes of Thomas Lemar and Suso have also been associated with the Merseyside outfit, but Draxler appears the prime option for Klopp, having watched the player on numerous occasions during his time in the Bundesliga.
Draxler has managed just 16 starts in the French Ligue 1 this term, but he still remains a regular under Joachim Loew, who has called him up for his latest Germany squad.
