Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking into a move for AS Monaco right-back Djibril Sidibe ahead of this summer's transfer window.

The France international had been of interest to Arsenal during the summer of 2016, but he snubbed their advances to join Monaco from Lille instead.

Sidibe has since won the French Ligue 1 title with Monaco, and according to Le 10 Sport, he could be offered a fresh challenge with United during the summer.

As per the report, Mourinho is a huge fan of Sidibe owing to his ability to play on either side of the central defenders, and talks have already been initiated with the player's representatives.

United have had concerns with both full-backs positions this term, and the positions of Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young remain a concern as they approach the twilight of their respective careers.

More so, Valencia has literally been playing without any competition in the right-back spot, and Sidibe's aggressive style of football may suit to Mourinho's tactics.
