Eden Hazard urges Chelsea teammates to work together
Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has refused to give up on a top-four spot despite the club falling 10 points adrift of both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur with six games to play.
The Blues suffered another dent in their Champions League pursuit as they were held 1-1 by West Ham United at Stamford Bridge, and this sees them with just three league victories since the turn of the year.
As a result, their chances of finishing in the top four are pretty slender, though Hazard is not giving on the club's ambition for the campaign, he said: "When you see the game we did everything, especially in the first half.
"This season isn't going well, we made some mistakes and conceded a goal. We need to work together. There are six games left to play in the league and we will try everything to be in the top four at the end of the season."
Hazard had a strong beginning to 2018 with a couple of top-notch performances, but he has failed to contribute in the form of goals or assists in the last six games with suggestions of fatigue.
The Belgian will be back in action for the Premier League outing versus Southampton this weekend after which they have a Thursday night game against Burnley.
