Arsenal interested in Real Madrid striker?
Arsenal are reportedly being linked with the services of Karim Benzema ahead of yet another transfer window. The France international has struggled at Real Madrid during the ongoing campaign with just nine goals across all competitions.
According to Diario Gol, the Gunners could make a firm offer of around £35m for the Frenchman when the transfer window reopens in July.
Benzema only inked a fresh long-term with Los Blancos earlier in the campaign but his form in front of goal has brought plenty of criticism from the club's faithful.
Meanwhile, club captain Sergio Ramos is also not impressed by the Frenchman's progress this term and he has urged Los Blancos to part ways with the striker.
Despite the speculation, Arsenal are highly unlikely to make an approach for the marksman, considering they have bolstered their frontline with the signings of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the past 12 months.
In addition to this, Wenger has the services of Danny Welbeck to bank upon and he has previously hinted that the club may not invest in the forward department in the summer.
