Chelsea set transfer budget for Antonio Conte's successor
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is set to offer a very limited transfer budget to whoever replaces Antonio Conte at the helm in the summer.
Conte, 48, has more than one year left on his present deal but he is widely expected to leave the Blues in the summer following disputes over the club's transfer policy.
According to Evening Standard, Conte's successor is unlikely to have much joy in the transfer market with the club focused on saving funds for the stadium redevelopment, which is due to cost in upwards of £1.2 billion.
Conte has kept silent over a future at Chelsea in recent weeks but reports claim that the Blues have already begun their hunt for a new head coach who may be announced during the off-season.
Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has been underlined as one of the prime targets to succeed Conte at Stamford Bridge whilst Napoli's Maurizio Sarri is also under consideration amid suggestions he could leave the Italian outfit in the summer.
