Egypt international Mohamed Salah has stressed that he is 'very happy' at Liverpool and he has no plans of leaving the club during this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old joined the Reds from AS Roma last summer and he has since been a revelation under Jurgen Klopp, contributing 42 goals and a further 13 assists across all competitions.

As such, he has been rewarded with both the PFA Player of the Year and FWA Player of the Year accolades and speaking at the awards ceremony for the latter, he said: "I'm very happy here and everything is fine. I have got ambitions for the future, with Liverpool. It is just the beginning."

Real Madrid have frequently been talked about as possible candidates to pursue Salah's signature but the attacker has now clarified that he has no plans of leaving the club anytime soon.

Salah is currently leading Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane in the Golden Boot race by three goals and he is currently in pole position to secure another award, unless Kane can score a flurry of goals in the final gameweek of the season.
