Arsenal attacker on Lazio radar?

Serie A side Lazio are reportedly weighing up a move for Lucas Perez from Arsenal. The Spaniard is currently on loan with ex-club Deportivo La Coruna after having failed to establish himself under Gunner boss Arsene Wenger.

According to Inside Futbol, the Capital outfit are plotting an attempt to sign the versatile forward, who is likely to be deemed surplus to requirements on his return to north London.

It is added that sporting director Igli Tare has already expressed an interest in the Spaniard and they are likely to propose an initial loan deal for Perez with the option of a permanent stay.

Perez had been aiming to earn his maiden call-up with the Spain national side after making his comeback with Deportivo. However, things have not gone his way with his performances seemingly angering the club's faithful.

The Spaniard is expected to return to the Emirates Stadium during the summer but it is yet to be seen whether the new Gunners manager would entertain the prospect of playing him.
