West Ham decide against Yaya Toure move
West Ham United have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign midfielder Yaya Toure during this summer's transfer window.
The Ivory Coast international was released by Manchester City following their Premier League this month and he has since suggested that he would like to stay in the English top-flight.
A recent report from Evening Standard cited that the Hammers could make an approach for the 35-year-old, but they now appear to have ended their interest.
New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has recently hinted that he may pursue four or five signings in the summer and they have now earmarked Fulham duo Ryan Fredericks and Tom Cairney as their top priorities.
Toure failed made only 17 appearances for City during the course of the 2017/18 season and he failed to find the scoresheet in any of those games. He has also been associated with a switch to managerless Everton of late.
