Thibaut Courtois responds to Chelsea future talk
Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has refused to rule out a potential move away from Chelsea during the ongoing transfer window.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a potential switch to Real Madrid in recent weeks with new boss Julen Lopetegui seeking a replacement for Keylor Navas between the sticks.
In a report covered by ESPN, Courtois confirmed that his future remains open now that Belgium's campaign at the summer World Cup has come to a conclusion.
He added that he would fancy staying put with Chelsea for the final year of his contract, though the decision may entirely be dependent on the Blues hierarchy.
Chelsea are presently rumoured to be eyeing a move for Alisson Becker from AS Roma and his arrival may witness them part ways with Courtois, who has been reluctant to extend his contract.
Courtois' present deal expires in the summer of 2019 and he has previously hinted that he would fancy a return to Madrid where his children are resided with his mother.
