Thibaut Courtois close to Chelsea exit
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is close to a move to Real Madrid with Chelsea agreeing a €35m move for the Belgian with the Champions League holders, according to the Daily Star.
Courtois has been linked with Los Blancos along with Chelsea and Belgium teammate Eden Hazard.
While Courtois is close to a move, Hazard is unlikely to go to Spain with Spanish football expert Guillem Balague saying that The Blues are not willing to sell.
Courtois was in top form at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia, winning the golden glove award for being the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
Reports have indicated that Real won't be going for a 'Galatico', but with the signing of Courtois close to completion, it is safe to say that the Spanish side will get themselves one.
The move to La Liga will help the former Atletico Madrid star stay close to his family who reside in Spain.
Chelsea have been linked with Leceister City's Kasper Schmeichel and former goalkeeper Petr Cech as they look for Courtois' replacement.
