Real Madrid agree huge fee for Hazard

Eden Hazard news

Real Madrid have agreed a fee of £170m for the transfer of Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer, Le 10 Sport reports.

According to the publication, Chelsea had rejected a bid of £90m plus bonuses for the World Cup star.

Real Madrid see Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left for Italian giants Juventus for a fee reported to be £99m.

Real Madrid's bitter rivals Barcelona are also looking to add the pacy winger to their side, reportedly offering Ousmane Dembele and a possible £150m for Hazard.

It is more likely that he will move to Real Madrid if it is finally agreed that he will leave Chelsea as he has spoken of the pride in putting on the Los Blancos jersey.

It was reported that new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants the Belgian to stay, but it is increasingly looking unlikely that he will.

The Daily Star reports that the former Napoli manager will have discussions with Hazard in a bid to convince the winger to remain at the Bridge.
