Aaron Ramsey drops update on his Arsenal future
Aaron Ramsey drops update on his Arsenal future
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has said that he is 'unsure' whether a new contract could be finalised with the north London club.
The Wales international was the Gunners' standout performer last term with 11 goals and 12 assists but this was sufficient to guide the club to a Champions League finish.
Since then, there has been plenty of changes right from the management and Ramsey has now placed doubts over his future with the club, he told Sky Sports News:
"We'll see what happens, but my agent and the club are talking. I'm not sure exactly what it hinges on, I'm just leaving it to them to discuss and to figure it out but we are yet to come to an agreement."
Arsenal are already said to have their regrets after allowing the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alexis Sanchez and Jack Wilshere enter the final year of their contracts over the past year and Ramsey may head through the exit door, should an agreement fail to be reached in the coming weeks.
France international Steven Nzonzi has been highlighted as a probable target to replace the Welshman after working under the Gunners boss during their time together in Seville.
