Jose Mourinho casts doubts over fitness of two key players
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that Antonio Valencia and Nemanja Matic may not make the starting lineup for tonight's Premier League game versus Tottenham Hotspur.
The duo have been sidelined from first-team duty since pre-season but they have made their way back to training over the past couple of weeks.
Despite this, Mourinho is unsure of their involvement in a high intensity game versus Spurs, given they have yet to experience any competitive action on the field this term.
"[Valencia] is one of the guys that we have to wait and see. Not injured, training with the team Valencia, Matic, Diogo Dalot, they are all back to working with the team but it is too early today," he said via The Mirror.
Aside from the pair, summer signing Diogo Dalot is likely to miss tonight's game altogether having just returned to training after a knee surgery but Alexis Sanchez should feature from the off following a minor knock.
