Terry not sure Mourinho has big characters at Manchester United

John Terry news

Former Chelsea captain John Terry has said that he has doubts about Jose Mourinho having big characters in his United side.

According to the former England international, Mourinho has had big characters at his previous clubs, including Chelsea, but he is not sure that is the case at the Old Trafford side.

Speaking to Sportsmail, he said: ‘At every club he has had big characters and I’m not sure he has that at Manchester United at the moment. At Chelsea, he did.'

Manchester United can boast of players like Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and David de Gea, but it seems that Terry does not qualify big characters based on abilities or achievements.

During Mourinho's time in Italy, Spain and England with Chelsea, he managed some of the top players of the 21st century that include Cristiano Ronaldo, Javier Zanetti, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, and Terry himself.

Jose Mourinho has had a shaky start to his third season at United, winning just two of his opening four Premier League games.
