Rashford in line to start against Young Boys

England international Marcus Rashford will reportedly be handed a start for Manchester United during Wednesday's Champions League opener against Young Boys on the road.

Rashford, 20, is presently serving a three-man domestic suspension after his red card versus Burnley in the Premier League before the international break.

Despite this, the youngster is eligible to feature in the European competitions and according to The Mirror, Jose Mourinho is prepared to hand him just his second start of the season.

United boss Mourinho was recently criticised for underusing Rashford after the striker shortly after he scored in the internationals against Spain and Switzerland but the Portuguese has since defended himself.

In a recent press conference, Mourinho highlighted that Rashford has played more than any other Under-21 Premier League player over the past two seasons and the forward now appears set to face Young Boys tomorrow.

Romelu Lukaku is very much certain to lead the line for United on Wednesday night and Rashford may replace either Alexis Sanchez or Jesse Lingard in a wider role.
