Granit Xhaka speaks on Arsenal's top four prospects
Switzerland international Granit Xhaka believes Arsenal can return to the Champions League next season after making a strong start to the proceedings under manager Unai Emery.
The Gunners were expected to go through a tough patch after the departure of legendary head coach Arsene Wenger but Emery has quickly managed to help the players adapt to his style of play.
Owing to this, the Gunners have managed to keep up with the Champions League spots with just one point splitting them from fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and Xhaka feels the club are now ready to compete for the top four.
"We knew we would not lose this game because we were so good and showed that character again. If you see this game, you can see we are ready for the top four," he said.
Arsenal started the campaign with successive league defeats but they have since gone on a 14-match unbeaten run across all competitions - which includes nine Premier League games.
