Sevilla make transfer decision on Alvaro Morata
Sevilla have reportedly decided against making a move for Chelsea's Alvaro Morata after finding a cheap option available in the winter transfer market.
The La Liga club recently made it public that they are interested in signing Morata, who has struggled to contribute regular goals at the west London giants.
However, according to The Independent, that may not be the case anymore with the Spanish outfit having shifted their attention towards signing Munir El Haddadi from Barcelona instead.
Morata had recently bagged a brace during the FA Cup third round triumph over Nottingham Forest but he was thereafter ignored for the League Cup semi-final first leg against Tottenham Hotspur with a minor injury doubt.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have very much begun their pursuit for a new marksman and reports claim that Gonzalo Higuain has been earmarked as the prime target to bolster the striking department.
The Argentine is currently on a two-year loan deal with AC Milan from Juventus but the Blues still remain optimistic of luring him to the Bridge this month.
