Predicted Man United XI vs Chelsea

Manchester United have the opportunity to return to winning ways when they face Chelsea on the road in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

The Red Devils recently suffered their maiden defeat under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a 2-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Formation: 4-3-3

Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea prevented the Red Devils from potential humiliation against Les Parisiens in midweek with key saves. He will, however, be hoping to be less busier at the Bridge where he is expected to start in goal.

In the backline, Ole should stick with his strongest combination and this should witness Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof at the heart of the defence with Ashley Young and Luke Shaw slotting into the full-back positions.

Likewise, Ole is unlikely to experiment in the centre of the park where Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera should partner Paul Pogba, who has played in the advanced position among the three with great success of late.

Upfront, there should be at least two enforced changes with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard on the sidelines with injuries. In place of the duo, Romelu Lukaku and Juan Mata should come into the fray.

Lukaku should lead the line with Rashford on the left wing while Mata should feature on the right side of the attack, although it does not remain his preferred position.
