Antonio Rudiger praises Chelsea manager after transformation
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has heaped praise on manager Maurizio Sarri following the club's back-to-back league wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham respectively.
The Italian tactician's future had come under question earlier last month after the Blues suffered a damaging 6-0 league defeat at the hands of Manchester City on the road.
However, Sarri has since managed to improve the club's performances and this has included a couple of league wins, while they only succumbed to a penalty shoot-out defeat to Manchester City in the League Cup final.
In a report covered by Evening Standard, Rudiger said that Sarri has managed to quickly adapt following the recent humiliation against Pep Guardiola's team.
He added to praise the manager for the change in tactics in recent games which has improved the team's showing on both ends of the field, he said:"You saw the way we played against Tottenham and Manchester City [in the past week]?
"It was different to the way we played in the first three months. Everyone needs to adapt. Have we found a good balance of how to play? Definitely. In life, you need to adapt to things."
Chelsea are currently sixth on the Premier League table but they are just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with an extra game in hand over Brighton & Hove Albion.
