Real Madrid make first approach for Chelsea attacker?

Real back in for Hazard

Real Madrid have reportedly made an official approach to sign Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard in the summer following the reappointment of Zinedine Zidane as their manager.

The European champions have been linked with the Belgium international over the past couple of seasons and they have a good chance of prising him away in the summer amid his reluctance to extend his Blues contract.

According to The Telegraph, the return of Zidane to the helm has coincided with Los Blancos reviving their interest in Hazard, who has regularly spoken about his dream of playing for the Bernabeu giants.

Chelsea are said to value Hazard at around £100m for the summer but Los Blancos are hoping to lure the attacker for a lesser price, given the Belgian would be entering the final year of his contract in the summer.

Hazard is currently experiencing his best-ever campaign in the Premier League and has already contributed 13 goals and a further 11 assists for the west London side.
