Maurizio Sarri reveals major injury boost ahead of Manchester United game
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that the club would be able to bank on the services of Antonio Rudiger during Sunday's Premier League meeting against Manchester United.
The Germany international has been sidelined since the league defeat to Liverpool with a knee problem but the Blues have received a positive boost ahead of the Red Devils clash.
Speaking in a press conference, Sarri confirmed that Rudiger has been deemed fit to participate in the crunch showdown after returning to first-team training earlier in the week.
However, the club are facing concerns regarding the fitness of N'Golo Kante after a rib problem while Callum Hudson-Odoi has been ruled out for the rest of the season after a surgery on a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Chelsea are currently occupying the fourth position in the standings and they have the destiny in their own hands in terms of qualifying for the Champions League through their domestic division.
As such, they can't afford to drop any points against the Red Devils, considering their opponents and Arsenal could be offered the chance to revive their top-four hopes.
