Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3) to face Watford, Hazard and Higuain start
Chelsea will be aiming to enhance their top-four prospects when they entertain Watford on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues are presently two points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal in the standings, but they could potentially jump up to the third spot with a victory after Tottenham Hotspur failed to capitalise on their weekend clash.
Formation: 4-3-3
Predicted Lineup:
Kepa Arrizabalaga has been a constant between the sticks for Chelsea in the Premier League and the same is expected to be the case against the Hornets. In the backline, Sarri is likely to stick with the same combination from the previous weekend against Manchester United. In this case, Marcos Alonso should return to left-back ahead of Emerson, who featured in the midweek Europa League game.
In the midfield, Jorginho and N'Golo Kante are the undisputed choices under Sarri and the duo should feature from the off. Alongside them, Ross Barkley could get the nod over Ruben Loftus-Cheek, considering the latter played more than 80 minutes against Eintracht Frankfurt in midweek.
In the frontline, Olivier Giroud and Willian are probable candidates to drop to the bench. Eden Hazard is expected to return to the left wing with Pedro on the opposite end while Gonzalo Higuain should lead the line despite his inconsistent form since his winter move.
