Belgian star flattered by Manchester United interest
AS Monaco ace Youri Tielemans has acknowledged that he has been flattered with the interest from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The midfielder spent the second half of the previous campaign on loan with Leicester City and he was largely successful with three goals and five assists resulting from his 13 appearances for the club.
Since then, there have been various reports claiming that Tielemans could return to the Premier League on a permanent basis this summer and the Belgian has opened to the prospect.
"Yes [I am flattered by Man Utd and Spurs interest], they are really big teams in England and in Europe. To hear those names gives me confidence. I just try to play my game on the pitch and try my best," he told HLN.
Monaco are likely to demand a sum in the region of £40m for the former Anderlecht star and that is expected to be affordable for both United and Spurs this summer.
