Unai Emery wants Arsenal to break the bank to land 26-year-old attacker
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is reportedly desperate to secure the signature of Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace during this summer's transfer window.
The north London side have been regularly linked with the Ivory Coast international in the past year and they have been far off from meeting the Eagles' price tag for the attacker.
According to The Sun, Gunners boss Emery has urged the club's hierachy to spare additional transfer funds in order to land the services of the former Manchester United man.
It had previously been reported that the Eagles may demand as much as £100m for the winger but it is now revealed that a £55m bid would be sufficient to convince the club into a sale.
Emery's side are deemed to be working on a limited £40m budget for the summer and reports have indicated that the manager may have to offload some of the existing squad players to garner additional funds.
