Real Madrid make fresh transfer decision on Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba news

Los Blancos unlikely to make Pogba move

Real Madrid could reportedly end their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as they are unlikely to meet the Red Devils' asking price for the Frenchman.

Pogba has recently admitted that he may consider a new challenge away from Old Trafford but there have been reports indicating that Los Blancos are his dream destination.

According to AS, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has urged the club's hierarchy to make a move for Pogba but so far, they have been reluctant to match United's £162m price tag.

As such, it appears that the 13-time European champions could end their interest in the World Cup winner unless they are able to recoup sufficient funds from player sales in the next few weeks.

Los Blancos have spent nearly £250m to secure five players including Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic. They are now expected to reduce the squad numbers with Lucas Vazquez, Marcelo and James Rodriguez among those likely to leave the club.
