Real Madrid to push for Paul Pogba signing until transfer deadline
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to step up their efforts to sign midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of the Premier League transfer deadline next week.
The La Liga giants are permitted to make signings until September 2 but they are aware that the Red Devils won't consider any offers for Pogba once the transfer window closes in England.
According to AS, Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane continues to remain desperate to land the former Juventus man and the club could be prepared to match United's £137.2m price tag for the midfielder.
However, the 13-time European champions may need to act at the earliest possibility, considering they need to find a replacement first before sanctioning Pogba's sale.
Both Bruno Fernandes and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have been linked with a move to Old Trafford but the former seems the most likely to make the switch to the Mancunian giants before the August 8 deadline.
Manchester United are also looking into a move to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City but they are yet to find an agreement with the Foxes wanting around £90m for the centre-back.
