Arsenal are edging ever closer to agreeing a move for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney this summer, with the Gunners agreeing a £25 million transfer fee to sign the versatile full back. The North London outfit have been linked with a transfer for Tierney for over six months and now look set to snap up the Scottish international.

Arsenal have been very active in the past six days having agreed deals for Dani Ceballos, William Saliba and Nicolas Pepe, but it is understood the final part of the jigsaw would be agreeing a move to sign Kieran Tierney.

So far Arsenal and Celtic have yet to have reached a settlement, but it is understood that a fee has now been agreed in principle and that will allow Arsenal to snap up one of the UK's best defensive prospects.

Tierney, who has three years remaining on his Celtic deal, is set to become one of Arsenal's best paid players if he makes the move south of the border, with talk of a £125,000 per week contract on the table.
