Pogba still on Real Madrid radar

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to give up on signing midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United before the European transfer window closes.

The France international expressed his intention to pursue a 'new challenge' at the end of the previous season and he has since been constantly linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

Los Blancos have been regarded as the main contenders to lure him away from the Red Devils but so far, they have not made an offer close to the expectations of the Mancunian giants.

According to The Mirror, Zidane is weighing up a late move for the World Cup winner, who he considers as a potentially gamechanging option from the centre of the park.

It has previously been indicated that the Red Devils want around £180m for the Frenchman and that would be a huge outlay for the Madrid giants, who have already spent over £250m on five new signings including Eden Hazard.

Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar has also been associated with a move to the Bernabeu but recent reports indicate that Barcelona may have won the race to re-sign him from the French champions.
