Jose Mourinho dined with Arsenal head of football

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho reportedly had dinner with Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi last week. This is a strong signal that Arsenal are now considering Mourinho as Emery’s replacement.

Arsenal have been managed by Unai Emery for one-and-a-half seasons. However, fans and pundits think there is not much improvement under his management. In the last 3 PL matches, the Gunners have not won a single match. The situation in North London is also worsened after the Granit Xhaka incident.

According to The Times, Unai Emery doesn't have much time left at the Emirates Stadium. The former PSG boss is said to have only one more month to save his job.

Considering Mourinho has not been employed until now, Arsenal are now eyeing him. Jose Mourinho himself last worked as the manager of Manchester United. He was kicked out of Old Trafford in December 2018. After that, Mourinho decided to take a break from managing clubs. So far, Mourinho has been linked with other clubs such as Bayern Munich, Spurs, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
