Unai Emery provides positive reaction despite Leicester defeat
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has delivered a rather positive reaction following the club's 2-0 Premier League defeat at Leicester City on Saturday.
The north London giants came up with a defensive minded formation against the Foxes and they struggled to provide any meaningful threat on goal barring the early effort from Alexandre Lacazette.
Ultimately, they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat after goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison and that sees them eight points behind the top four places after just 12 games into the season.
Speaking after the game, Emery praised the attitude of the players and stated that his team will come back stronger following the forthcoming international break.
"The attitude was good, every player. This is the spirit we need. Now is time to rest with the international break. I'm sure we're going to improve after that. We need to achieve, at home, confidence and to be strong," he told Sky Sports.
Arsenal have an easier fixture schedule with league games against Southampton, Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion following the internationals but it is unclear whether Emery will continue to remain incharge.
