Tottenham in the pursuit of £30m-rated Serie A striker

Tottenham have reportedly joined the race for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek claims The Guardian.
It is added that the Rossoneri are trying to lend the Polish striker for a reported fee of £30m following the addition of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the squad.
The 24-year-old has been said to be watched by a host of Premier League clubs, with Spurs becoming the latest one.
Piatek has been underperforming in Serie A this season despite a promising campaign last term, where he bagged 30 goals for Genoa and Milan altogether.
Tottenham cite the Polish striker to be the replacement for the injured Harry Kane, who is expected to spend his time in the sidelines for a long haul.
Jose Mourinho has been not allowed to make full use of the transfer window due to the financial constraints, which could be only lifted by the departure of Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Spurs are sixth in the Premier League table trailing Manchester United by a point. They will face Liverpool in their next fixture.
