Chelsea make transfer decision on Dutch defender
Chelsea have reportedly decided against making a move for Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake during the current transfer window.
The Dutchman left the Blues on a permanent basis to join the Cherries in 2017 but the club included a buy-back clause worth £40m when selling him.
That option is due to expire at the end of the month but it appears that the Blues are not interested in the mid-season deal, an exclusive report from The Sun claims.
Of late, Andreas Christensen has been linked with a move to AC Milan but Frank Lampard has clearly stated that the Dane won't be offloaded from the ranks.
The club are comfortable with four central defensive choices in Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma and they are unlikely to spend unless one of them is sold.
Ake recently returned to action at left-back following a hamstring injury but he had a forgettable game with the Cherries suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Watford in the Premier League.
