Tottenham open to selling key ace amidst La Liga interest
Tottenham are open to selling their star player Harry Kane to La Liga giants Barcelona, claims the Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
The report adds that Spurs would affix 160 million Euros for the Three Lions skipper, who has also attracted interest from Barca’s technical staff.
However, it is understood that a move in the on-going transfer window is impossible due to the unavailability of Kane for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, the Catalans would also be put off by the whopping price tag of the 26-year-old.
Besides Kane, Barca are considering various prolific names as they continue seeking replacements for Luis Suarez, who is out for the rest of the season due to knee surgery.
Jose Mourinho is also contemplating the striker options following the injury to Kane, and names like Krzysztof Piatek are on the transfer radar of Spurs.
The English striker's absence has highly reflected on Spurs' performances of late, as they have failed to register a single win in their last four games in Premier League.
