Juventus have reportedly joined the transfer race for FC Porto left-back Alex Telles, reports the Daily Mail.

The Brazilian defender also turns out to be a key target for Frank Lampard's Chelsea, who are keen on strengthening their left-back position.

Telles, 27, is currently enjoying a great season in Liga NOS, racking up 5 goals and 5 assists in all competitions.

The report also adds that Bianconeri are preparing an offer worth £21m for the ex-Inter Milan star, who is reluctant on extending his contract with the Portuguese outfit. Ligue 1 giants PSG are also monitoring the left-back’s progress.

Juve have been solely reliant on the services of Alex Sandro, who appears to be below his usual standards this season. Meanwhile, Mattia De Sciglio, the second-choice left-back, has made only 6 appearances in Serie A this season.

Sarri’s men are currently leading the league table four points ahead of Inter Milan. After picking up a comprehensive win over Roma in the Copa Italia, Juve will face Napoli in their next Serie A fixture.
