Tottenham enter the race for in demand Bundesliga striker

Tottenham have reportedly entered the transfer race for Leipzig striker Timo Werner, who also turns out to be a key target for Liverpool and Chelsea, according to Football London.
The sought-after German ace has been widely tipped to leave Germany this month despite signing a contract extension with Leipzig.
Tottenham appear to have entered the transfer battle for the 23-year-old as a measure to cope up with the absence of Harry Kane.
Werner, who has also been chased by Real Madrid and Barcelona, is second in the Bundesliga goalscoring charts at the moment, having found the net 20 times this season.
Spurs have also been linked with AC Milan striker Piatek and Willian Jose from Sociedad, with the former one also being watched by Manchester United.
Mourinho has been lackadaisical in the past few games after what appeared to be a wonderful start to his managerial reign in North London.
Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League table and will face Manchester City next Sunday.
