Barcelona to use Coutinho as bait to sign PSG ace in summer
Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a summer move for PSG star Neymar in a swap deal involving Philippe Coutinho.
The Catalans are currently in search of a suitable buyer for Coutinho following Bayern Munich's decision to not buy him permanently in the summer thanks to his unimpressive loan spell.
As a result, Barca decided to lower his asking price, which in turn attracted the likes of Manchester United, City, Chelsea and Spurs. Even his former club Liverpool are said to be interested in his return.
According to Le10Sport, Barca have now found another suitor in the form of PSG, who attempted to sign the Brazilain midfielder last year.
The report also states that the Catalans are looking to use Coutinho as a bait to lure their former star Neymar back to the Camp Nou. The 28-year-old is still said to be on the transfer agenda of Barca which was later confirmed by their Sporting director Eric Abidal.
Barca have reportedly reduced Coutinho’s price tag to around £80m as a result of a massive decline in his form.
