Real Madrid eyeing shock summer move for Bundesliga striker

Erling Haaland news

Real Madrid want Haaland

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian striker has hit the ground running at Signal Iduna Park, scoring 12 goals over a short period.

According to Marca, Madrid are prioritising a move for the 19-year-old, who turns out to be one of the hottest strikers in Europe.

The report also adds that Los Blancos could use Achref Hakimi, who is currently on loan with Die Borussen, as a makeweight in a deal for Haaland.

Haaland entered the spotlight due to his impressive run with RB Salzburg in the first half of this season. The Norwegian wonderkid was widely tipped to join hands with his compatriot Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United before Dortmund signed him in the January transfer window.

Los Blancos are also said to be tracking Timo Werner and Lautaro Martinez, both of whom are also watched by arch-rivals Barcelona.

Zinedine Zidane has been reliant on Karim Benzema throughout this season while Luka Jovic, who had a disappointing start to life at Bernabeu, is starting to slowly gain his rhythm.
