Barcelona to make formal offer for Arsenal star?
Barcelona could reportedly lodge an approach to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Gabon international has only 16 months remaining on his existing deal with the Gunners and so far, he has not agreed to terms over a possible renewal.
As a result, there has been widespread speculation that he could be sold by the Gunners in the summer and The Express claims that the Blaugrana could offer stiff competition to Inter Milan to land his services.
The Catalan giants are keen on landing a new marksman during the off-season with the regular injury concerns of Luis Suarez and they have recently been fancied to trigger the £98m release clause of Inter's Lautaro Martinez.
However, Aubameyang is also said to be in their summer wishlist and reports claim that the striker could be prised away from the Gunners for £60m, suppose he refuses to pen a new deal with the north London side.
Aubameyang has netted 20 goals for the Gunners in all competitions this term. Gabriel Martinelli is currently the second highest goalscorer for the club and he has netted just 10 times in all competitions.
