Barcelona end interest in Chelsea star
Barcelona have reportedly ended their long-term pursuit of Chelsea winger Willian in order to focus on re-signing Neymar from the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain.
Willian has been the subject of interest from the Blaugrana in the past few transfer windows but on each occasion, the Blues have knocked back the advances.
The Brazilian is available on a free transfer when his Blues contract expires in the summer but Mundo Deportivo claims that the Catalan giants will focus on re-signing Neymar rather than returning for the Blues ace.
Neymar was frequently linked with a return to the Camp Nou last summer but a deal did not materialise with Les Parisiens demanding around £230m for the former Santos graduate.
The Catalans have recently seen the emergence of Ansu Fati but they are still expected to pursue a marquee signing this summer with Ousmane Dembele showing no signs of overcoming his dreadful injury record.
Meanwhile, Luis Suarez has also been sidelined with multiple knee injuries over the past 18 months and the Blaugrana seem keen on pursuing Neymar, who has had a good track record playing alongside Lionel Messi in the past.
