Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Jeremie Boga
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Jeremie Boga, who has impressed with Sassuolo in the Serie A.
The 23-year-old was previously in the ranks of the Blues but he made just one appearance before making the permanent switch to Sassuolo in 2018.
In the current season, Boga has excelled for the Italian club with eight goals and four assists in the league and this has led to speculation that he may pursue a bigger challenge this summer.
Frank Lampard's side obviously have the buy-back option for £12.8m but Spurs are still said to hold an interest in the winger, who represents the Ivory Coast at the international level.
Chelsea have already signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax to bolster their wide attacking department and reports have claimed that they could trigger the clause to re-sign Boga.
Still, there are no assurances that the winger could have a future with the club and there are suggestions that the board could sanction his departure for an instant profit.
